I am a freelancer in Wiener Neustadt, Austria

Since 2004, I have been helping small businesses get the most out of their Zen Cart online store and add new functionality. With always up-to-date, attractively designed, individual, user- and Google-friendly, secure and reliable online stores, my customers achieve more sales.

I am part of the developer team of the German Zen Cart version and continue to develop this excellent open source e-commerce software that takes into account the legal requirements in German-speaking countries. Details on the website of the German Zen Cart version and on the Github page of the project .

Another focus is the open source newsletter system phpList , which I maintain for clients and seamlessly couple with their Zen Cart store if needed.

At the moment, I only support existing customers and do not take on projects from new customers.

Everything round about Zen Cart and phpList
New functionalities

You have discovered an extension that you would like to use? But you don't have the time to deal with complicated instructions and technical jargon? Your desired module is available, but hopelessly outdated? You wish for a certain new functionality?

Shopupdate

Your Zen Cart store is a bit outdated? I specialize in updating - even extremely modified stores - to the current Zen Cart version and am equipped with the necessary test systems. If you let webchills update your webshop, you can be sure that you will not experience any unpleasant surprises later in your live store.

Provider change

You want or need to change the provider? I will set up your store on the new server without long downtimes.

Development

I am working in the developer team of the German version and continue to develop the German Zen Cart version, which takes into account the legal requirements in German-speaking countries.

Custom Layout

I'll implement your Zen Cart design draft so that your store looks the way you want it to look. And not like hundreds of others. Special attention is paid to the optimal display on smartphones and tablets.

Newsletter

You want a newsletter system over which you have full control? That does not run with all your customer data at a third party provider in a foreign country but on your own server? phpList can do that.

Security

You manage sensitive customer data in your store or your newsletter system. You want them to be safe from hackers. During an analysis of your current system, I check for vulnerabilities and make security-relevant changes if necessary.

Pairing Zen Cart / phpList

Your phpList newsletter system can be linked to your Zen Cart store. If a customer ticks in the store during checkout that he wants to subscribe to your newsletter, he will automatically be entered into the phpList system. Of course GDPR compliant with double opt-in.

Error messages / Error logs

In your Zen Cart Shop error messages occur again and again? Your log directory on the server is flooded with error logs? I get to the bottom of the causes and turn off the errors.

Integration of new languages

You want your store to handle not only German and English, but also other languages? I integrate optimized language packages and show you what you need to consider.
